7.0 Earthquake, Haiti
PRAISE THE LORD, PRAISE THE LORD!
We have received word from Haiti. Pastor FanFan is alive and well as is his family!
The school and church are still greatly affected. There is loss of life in the ranks and they still need as much prayer as we can muster. The church is still standing however it is damaged. There are visible cracks and repairs must be made before it is safe to use again. As we understand the situation, all of the classrooms have collapsed.
The structures can be replaced. We mourn the loss of life, but we also rejoice in the good news of lives that excaped the hands of death.
There is much work to be done. Much work we will do.
Thank you Jesus for answered prayers.

Pathway Outreach Ministries
Thousands are dead after the strongest earthquake in over 200 years hits the Caribbean. The news reports terms like destroyed and devastated. The streets are littered with bodies. I am overwhelmed at the moment as I think of my friends who are there and the effects this will have on our ministry there.
I am on the staff of Pathway Outreach Ministries as an Outreach Minister. My primary responsibility is local, stateside mission churches we conduct for children. Pathway, however, has a church and school in the Buteau area of the city of Leogane. This area is located in the worst area as described by the USGS Shakemap below.
There are many who need prayer. Three million people have been directly affected by this event. Please take time to ask for God's will to be done and for His Kingdom to receive glory because of this. It may seem distant to you, but people I love are there. Please. Pray.
